- Design and implement an operations model with defined processes for monitoring and health management, event management and incident response
- Drive the improvement of monitoring, backup, cluster deployment and incident response functions and manage their implementation with the development team to continuously improve the availability and decrease manual operations efforts
- SLA management: collect metrics and monitor compliance
- Perform e2e testing for cluster operations functions and manage resolution of issues in close interaction with the development team
- Interaction with customers for whom managed services are provided
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a leading IT operations and support role, such as SRE team lead, Head of application operations or Head of infrastructure (either in on premise data centers or on a major cloud provider)
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on admin/ops experience with the Kubernetes platform
- Several years of experience with data storage system implementation / operations (SAN, NAS, etc.)
- Some background in system virtualization, networking and linux
- Preferably: Several years of experience with the administration of cloud-based IaaS such as aws ec2/vpc/eks
