    Job Description
    This is full-time role for a Capital Markets lawyer
    We advise leading companies and financial institutions on a wide spectrum of complex trade of financial securities issues.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Qualified LLB or LLM from premier law school in India / abroad (qualified to work in India).
    • 4- 6 years of demonstrated success across financial securities, tradings and exchange commission with a Tier 1 law firm.
    Key Skills

    • Exhibit strong practice skills including (a) oral and written advocacy; (b) contract drafting; (c) analysing and communicating technical matters
    • Efficiently manage timelines of assignments and are a multi-tasker able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
    • Solution-oriented approach with proven ability to close transactions independently with minimal supervision.
    • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal - with a proven ability to communicate to all "clients" (internal and external).
    • Good understanding on a wide range of legal subjects, ability to build on this knowledge, spot issues and bring in specialists as needed.
    • Drive for technical superiority by staying abreast of developments in Law and be the go-to subject matter expert
    Key Responsibilities
    The responsibilities of the incumbent will include but not limited to:

    • Legal Research
    • Contracts: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating legally binding agreements on behalf of the client.
    • Advising on legal and regulatory matters
    • Negotiating contracts

    About the Practice:
    Our Capital Market practice is focused practice on Securities Law and a large team with 13 Partners.

    Our firm has been consistent in winning large mandates and we have been involved in most of the complex transactions.

    Further, we are considered as the 'firm of choice' by most underwriters.

    These include large underwriters such as Morgan Stanley, Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BoFAML), Axis Capital, JM Financial, ICICI Securities and Kotak Mahindra Capital.
