Job Title: Sales Manager - CBSE/UPSC Book Sales
Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our CBSE/UPSC book sales team . The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and achieve sales targets specifically for our CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) publications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational publication / Dealer Distributor to make a network and sales b2b ,excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality educational resources to students and educators.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for CBSE and UPSC sales, identifying key growth opportunities and market trends.
2. Team Leadership- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales goals.
3. Relationship Management- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with schools, educational institutions, bookstores, and other key customers to drive sales and promote customer loyalty.
4. Product Knowledge- Stay up-to-date on our CBSE and UPSC publications, understanding their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, and effectively communicate this information to customers.
5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and generate regular reports to track progress against sales targets, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decision-making.
6. Collaboration:- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as marketing, editorial, and production to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 to 8 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in educational publishing sales or related industry.
Previous experience in a leadership or management role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a sales team to achieve targets.
Deep understanding of the CBSE and UPSC education sectors, including familiarity with curriculum requirements, examination patterns, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels and present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
