    Sustainable Procurement Role

    Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Operations Experience:

    • Demonstrated experience of 5+ years in sustainable procurement and supply chain operations.
    • Preferably, experience in handling chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

    Communication Skills:

    • Strong communication skills for effectively working with crossfunctional teams and suppliers globally.

    Supplier Management:

    • Experience in implementing Supplier Code of Conduct and commitments/ESG goals with suppliers.
    • Proficiency in implementing supplier assessments and risk assessments.
    • Ability to monitor and account for Scope 3 emissions.
    • Experience in conducting supplier audits and engaging in supplier performance monitoring.

    Training and Capacity Building:

    • Capability to provide training and capacity building within the supply chain on sustainable procurement issues.
    • Experience in conducting capacitybuilding programs and supplier meets to communicate social and environmental issues.

    Integration of Social and Environmental Factors:

    • Ability to integrate social and environmental factors into procurement processes.

    Supplier Engagement and Monitoring:

    • Experience in implementing supplier engagement programs.
    • Proficiency in implementing monitoring programs and developing feedback mechanisms with suppliers.
    • Ability to assess suppliers' performance on sustainability.

    Assessment Skills:

    • Experience in conducting assessments such as EcoVadis, CDP related to supply chain sustainability.

    Additional Skills:

    • Strong ability in managing crossfunctional teams.
    • Change management skills.
    • Indepth knowledge of sustainability and ESG aspects.
    • Handson experience in implementing sustainable procurement and supplier engagement programs.
    • Candidates with these skills and experiences would be wellsuited for the role of driving sustainable procurement across PPL and collaborating with SCM teams, EHS, and sustainability teams at the corporate level.
