    & SummaryA career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

    Our Internal Tax team provides internal services related to financial services, treasury and taxation. As part of our team, you'll help the team provide a full range of taxation services to PwC related to complex financial reporting, cost management, tax planning, investment management and transaction processing.

    Section I: Job Summary
    This candidate is required for the Finance Tax (Direct) team of PwC which handles Direct tax matters for PwC India
    operations which includes effective tax planning as per law, tax assessment, litigations, various Tax compliances,
    handling Internal & external consultants, Advisory, Reporting to management, process improvements, automation
    and responsible for ensuring that tax matters are handled in the most efficient and effective manner.
    The candidate is expected to take responsibility towards all assigned Direct Tax compliances & related matters, Tax
    assessment and litigation matters & assisting the team in various other direct tax matters.

    Core Responsibilities
    - Tax Compliance
    ● Details collation and filling of ITR's , Tax audits, Transfer pricing audits, Form 67
    ● Advance tax calculations & payment thereon
    ● Coordination with the Tax Department on Intimation processing/Rectifications, refund, demands
    etc.

    Tax Assessments/Litigations
    ● Making representation, assisting in collating, preparing, submitting details for
    assessment/litigations and coordinating with internal & external consultants.

    Other matters
    ● Preparing memos/opinion/submissions on technical issues
    ● Conducting technical research for relevant case laws, knowledge portals etc.
    ● Updating stakeholders on on-going matters on a prompt and regular basis, keeping track of industry
    developments
    ● Handling matters related to Tax provisioning, deferred tax calculations, tax accounting &
    maintaining accuracy of tax accounts & reconciliations there of
    ● Lower Tax deduction matters
    ● Assisting in Management reporting related matters
    ● Other direct tax compliance such as SFT filling, Master File etc.
