    Description

    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of Content Operations to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the end-to-end processes involved in content development, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and alignment with our educational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in content operations, strong project management skills, and the ability to effectively manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1.Content Development Management:

    • Oversee the entire content development lifecycle, from ideation to delivery.
    • Ensure content aligns with educational standards and meets the needs of our target audience.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve content quality and efficiency.

    2.Operations Oversight:

    • Manage daily operations related to content creation, editing, and publishing.
    • Establish and maintain workflows and processes to ensure timely delivery of content.
    • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

    3.Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring they meet our quality and delivery standards.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and marketing teams, to align content initiatives with company goals.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for content-related projects and services.

    4.Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of content professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.
    • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

    5.Strategic Planning and Execution:

    • Contribute to the development of long-term content strategies that support the company's mission and vision.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating relevant insights into content operations.
    • Drive initiatives to adopt new technologies and methodologies that enhance content production and delivery.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in education, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in content development and operations, preferably in the education sector.
    • Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
    • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with content management systems and other relevant software tools.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Background in the education domain, with a deep understanding of educational content standards and practices.
    • Experience with digital content creation and e-learning platforms.
    • Familiarity with emerging trends in educational technology and content delivery.
