    Description

    As an Engineering Manager for Finance Technology team @ Walmart Technology Bangalore, you'll have the opportunity to define, implement, manage and deliver systems that maintain Walmart's Global Back Office SAP Landscapes.

    You will interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and deliver successfully across projects.

    In Walmart Global Tech, our Enterprise Business Services (EBS) organization is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience.

    Our mission within EBS is to enable Walmart's Global Enterprise to spend smartly, act digitally and build trust with associates and shareholders.

    As part of the Indirect Procurement Technology, you will build industry defining reusable associate and supplier facing services and products to drive differentiated experiences and cost savings.

    What you'll do:
    Manage a team of Functional associates, Technical associates and Scrum masters focused on the Spend management domain.

    Work with solution architects and help define business processes and system architectureSupport the team in delivery to ensure adherence to quality and scheduling goalsPartner with business stakeholders to ensure delivered solutions are fit for use and purpose while maintaining high levels of customer satisfactionProvide input to Spend Management leadership team on both short-term and long-term program planning focused on the organizational goalsIdentify, Improve and optimize opportunities to improve product deployment processes.

    Ensure compliance with security practices/guidelines, and relevant technology standardsPromotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

    Provides mentoring and development opportunities for associates. Move the team from a project mindset to a product mindset both in planning and delivery

    What you'll bring:
    B.E.

    or B.Tech or higher degree with 12+ years of experience and minimum 8 years SAP implementation in the area of Finance.

    Candidate should have experience in Functional and Technical area of SAP and people management skills.2-4 years' experience in managing high performance teams in a product development organisation5-8 years of experience in SAP Technical (ABAP, FIORI etc.) or SAP FI COStrong knowledge on Finance and Controlling business processes in On premise solution and Cloud solutionsVery good experience in AP, AR, GL, Asset Management and Treasury business processesGood experience in SAP S/4 implementationCertifications in relevant areas of SAP are preferredGood experience in delivering the project/product in Agile methodologyExperience in designing and implementing scalable solutions in a large-scale distributed environmentExperience working with global teams
