    Description
    We are looking to hire an enthusiasticdirector of development to secure financial support for ourorganization. The director of development will set and achievefundraising goals maintain knowledge of fundraisers interests andcultivate relationships with fellow employees and volunteers. Youwill be an active participant in fundraising events undertakevision trips and maintain a social mediapresence.The successful applicant will buildlasting relationships with donors and keep them informed on howtheir financial input is making the world a better place. Preferredcandidates will be selfmotived deadlinedrivenmultitaskers.

    Director ofDevelopmentResponsibilities:

    • Collaboratingwith the board of directors to create and implement a fundraisingplan.
    • Collaborating with the communicationsteam to develop a digital fundraisingstrategy.
    • Furnishing board with regularprogress reports.
    • Collaborating with a networkto identify and build relationships with newdonors.
    • Maintaining relationships with existingsponsors.
    • Obtaining financial support fromindividuals and organizations.
    • Managingfundraising and special events.
    • Generatingdevelopment materials such as grants and casestatements.
    • Managing the implementation ofdevelopment software.
    • Managing staffresponsible for data entry and giftprocessing.

    Directorof DevelopmentRequirements:

    • Bachelorsdegree in business nonprofit management or relatedfield.
    • 4 years of sales or business developmentexperience.
    • Proficient with sponsorshipsolicitation.
    • Excellent computerskills.
    • Proficient with MS Office applicationsand CRMs.
    • Proficient with social mediaplatforms.
    • Excellent understanding of bestpractices.
    • Outstanding communication skillsboth verbal and written.
    • Ability to workindependently.
    • Available to travel workweekends and evenings.
    • Valid driver slicense.
