    The Role:

    We are seeking an experienced Regional HR Leader to join our dynamic team in India. The India HR Leader will oversee the People function for a site of ~450 employees and a further ~300 agency contractors, working closely with local Executive-level leadership to drive HR initiatives and provide strategic guidance on a range of HR-related matters. This role will directly manage an individual contributor responsible for generalist HR duties, including employee relations, compliance, participating in global projects and managing PoSH and other audits. There will also be dotted line oversight of operations roles on behalf of the Singapore-based HR Operations manager. The successful candidate will also actively drive the HR team culture on the ground in concert with our local Talent Acquisition Leader.

    Skills You Will Need:

  • Business Partnership and HR Advocacy: Build strong partnerships with local business leaders, including the Site Lead for Hyderabad and their direct leadership team, while simultaneously advocating for the HR team's position and strategic priorities. Navigate and balance competing objectives to ensure alignment between business goals and HR strategies, fostering collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Cultural Leadership within the HR Team: Lead and shape the local HR team culture through influence. Resolve any local conflicts, escalating to your manager or the local Site Lead as may be necessary. Actively participate by sharing ideas and feedback in HRBP Lead meetings and local Site Lead discussions where appropriate.
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with local senior leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to local Silicon Labs employees and managers, providing guidance and support on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions where applicable.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with regulations, local labor laws, and company policies. Manage PoSH and other internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Partner with Silicon Labs' Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment efforts and global HR Business Partner Leads on talent development, succession planning, and performance management processes at the local level
  • HR Policy Implementation: Work with global centres of expertise to implement globally consistent, yet locally relevant HR policies, procedures, and programs at the India site, fostering a positive work culture and employee engagement.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership as needed.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, fostering a positive work environment and a culture of innovation.
  • Change Management: Support organizational change efforts and communicate effectively with local leaders and employees as necessary to ensure smooth transitions as needed.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of HR experience, ideally with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing PoSH audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including software and hardware engineers, designers, testers, non-technical roles and various leadership levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage people data to drive innovation and decision-making to the benefit of Silicon Labs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Exposure to design-led thinking advantageous.
  • Experience working in the Semiconductor industry is desirable
  • Reporting Structure:

  • The Regional HR Leader will report directly to the Global Senior HRBP Director and collaborate closely with the SVP Software (based in Hyderabad) and cross-functional semiconductor teams.
