- Tax and Compliance: Manage tax planning and compliance activities for the Europe region. Stay updated with local tax regulations and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Implement internal controls and processes to safeguard assets and ensure financial stability.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and manage liquidity for the Europe region. Develop strategies to improve cash flow efficiency.
- Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and treasury functions. Streamline processes and implement best practices.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with business units and senior management to provide financial insights, analysis, and support strategic initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Audit Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits.
- Cost Breakdown and Financial Analysis: Assist management and the commercial team with cost analysis.
- Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a focus on Europe region financial activities.
- Education: MBA in Finance or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP standards. Proficient in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting tools.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
