    Description

    The Training Manager will lead and oversee the trainings related to tools and processes used by different corporate and operations functions across the organization. The core focus will be on performance related metrics training, job role related scheduled curriculum training and induction training. The role also demands superior analytics acumen to identify areas / teams which require extra emphasis on training. The Manager will research, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training initiatives that promote people capabilities throughout the organization.

    The role will report to Director - Training.

    The role and responsibilities include:

    • Plan and coordinate all onsite and virtual training activities of the corporate staff to include resource, calendar and venue coordination, facilitator preparation, material preparation and/or other logistics related items. Also ensure training records are maintained regularly
    • Design and deliver training - both face to face and virtual training within time and budget constraints - working with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME's) to make the training more relevant to the business objective
    • Monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness, success, and outcome periodically
    • Plan, conduct and oversee metric focused on-the-job coaching and scheduled training to improve the performance of the trainees across different teams
    • Manage and oversee the learning management system (LMS) experience; analyze learner performance and engagement - work with team to enact any improvements or changes
    • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for Senior Management
    • Communicate with key stakeholders to obtain knowledge and understanding of business needs and operations

    This role will interact with both internal and external groups. Responsibilities also include working with CS, BD, Corporate teams, Ops Functional and Regional Heads, Academy Content Team, CT Team, Tech & Data Teams, third party e-Learning Platform providers.

    Education Qualification:

    Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory) in a relevant field

    Knowledge and Skills needed for the role:

    ●Experience in developing and implementing training and development programs in Supply Chain organizations

    ● Experience of managing a team in the past

    ● Understanding of Logistics environment

    ● Clarity regarding running a training ecosystem which comprises of Operations Coaches

    ● Excellent time-management and self-management skills

    ● Confident influencer who can exude high levels of energy, passion and drive

    ● Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills

    ● Excellent computer skills, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, Excel

    ● Excellent facilitation and platform skills including the ability to disseminate content effectively and engage all participants

    ● Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication with both internal and external levels of management

    ● Proven strong ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    ● Able to analyze problems and make recommendations for better solutions

    ● Intermediate understanding of learning management systems and/or eLearning platforms

    ● Ability to travel as needed
