Nielsen Sports provides essential services to clients, helping them to measure, analyse, and interpret the effectiveness of their advertising and investments, and to make sound economic decisions.As part of the Global Delivery Hub Project Management team, you'll build Nielsen Sports analysis used to advise clients on the exposure of their brands or platforms in media and to identify areas for improvement. You'll work closely with our colleagues to understand specific clients needs and requirements and use this information to create detailed analyses, combining data from different sources in the Nielsen Sports product portfolio.In addition to your analytical and data visualisation skills, you'll have excellent communication and presentation skills, and be able to turn your analysis results into compelling stories that deliver meaningful insights and added value to our clients. You'll also have the ability to collaborate with other teams within Nielsen across the world.

  • Key skills and competencies for this role include excellent people leadership, having an analytical mindset, identifying client needs, being knowledgeable in media and sponsorship, good time management and prioritization skills, and excellent communication skills to present recommendations to different audiences. You'll also need to maintain an internal and external network, coordinate ongoing client projects, and continually expand your knowledge of client business issues and needs, Nielsen Sports products, and the media and advertising industry.
  • Furthermore, you should be digitally literate, and a driver of automation and standardised, repeatable business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. With your help, we can support our clients in achieving their business growth goals, and deliver high-quality services that exceed their expectations.

    • Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analytics and Visualization Team LeadReports to: Media Delivery Team Lead
  • Purpose: Lead a small team of 5-6 designers who will be designing and executing higher level analytical solutions and data visualisation as required across the full range of Media, Consulting and Research projects which are delivered through the hub.
  • Specific Skills & Experience required:
  • Proven leadership skills in a context similar to this team's work.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English Proven successful experience as a project manager, designing complex analytical and data visualisation projects, and managing diverse stakeholdersHigh level of competence using Business Intelligence tools/platforms, Microsoft's PowerBI.
  • At least 5 years experience using Python and SQL to extract and manipulate data from a variety of sources.
  • Ability to teach the use of these tools to less experienced colleagues.
  • Experience of driving substantial improvements in analytical and visual storytelling skills in a similar team.
  • Familiar with analytic techniques such as Regression / Segmentation / TURF Analysis /Conjoint Analysis / Max Diff. Masters or PhD degree in an area where both extensive written and verbal communication skills and advanced mathematical analytical skills are key
