    About the role

    Asthe Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting thedevelopment and implementation ofthesocial emotional learning program in partner schools.

    Aboutthe Program

    Weat Bhumi believe that incorporating social-emotional learning in a child's lifewill help build character, enable learners to be ethical, rational,compassionate, and caring, and thereby prepare children for future challenges.SEL helps nurture Self Awareness, Self Management, Social Awareness, RelationshipSkills, and Responsible Decision-Making in individuals. These broadlyconstitute the five SEL competencies. Our program aims to foster these skills in various stakeholders within the education system, providing gradespecific deliverable content on SEL competencies for children, working closelywith the educators and caregivers through development workshops and providingnecessary support.

    Roleand Responsibilities

  • Assistin the development and adaptation of SEL curriculum materials, resources, andactivities to meet the needs of diverse learners and educational settings.
  • Collaboratewith educators and other stakeholders to integrate SEL practices into classroominstruction, school culture, and extracurricular activities.
  • FacilitateSEL workshops, training sessions, and professional development opportunitiesfor staff to enhance their understanding and implementation of SEL strategies.
  • Supportthe collection and analysis of data related to the implementation andeffectiveness of SEL programs and interventions.

    • EducationalQualification/Experience

  • EducationalDegree : Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Education orrelated field.
  • RelevantExperience(in years) : Previous experience in education, counseling, socialwork or related fields, with a focus on social emotional learning or mentalhealth support (preferred).

    • Knowledge& Skill sets required

  • Knowledgeof SEL frameworks, theories, and evidence-based practices.
  • Stronginterpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationshipsand collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experiencefacilitating workshops, training sessions, or group activities.
  • Abilityto work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational andtime management skills.
  • Commitmentto equity, diversity, and inclusion in education and social emotional support.
