    Description

    The Senior Associate (Grants)will be responsible for researching fundingopportunities preparing successful grant proposals maintaininggrant databases and ensuring compliance with grantrequirements.Success in the role of Senior Grants Associate ismeasured by the ability to secure funding that supports theorganizations programs and initiatives as well as by the effectivemanagement of grants throughout their lifecycle.The role of SeniorGrants Associate is integral to the organizations fundraisingefforts and overallmission.

    RoleandResponsibilities:

    • GrantResearch and Identification: Conduct research to identify potentialgrant opportunities from foundations government agenciescorporations and other funding sources aligned with ourorganizations mission and unrestricted funding i.e. capacitybuilding tech grants opex. Monitor funding trends RFPs and grantdatabases to stay informed about new fundingopportunities.
    • ProposalDevelopment and Writing: Collaborate withprogram staff to develop compelling grant proposals includingproject descriptions budgets and impactmetrics.
    • Ensureall grant applications are submitted accurately on time and incompliance with funderguidelines.
    • GrantAdministration: Oversee the grantapplication and reporting process including tracking deadlinessubmitting progress reports and ensuring compliance with grantrequirements.Maintain accurate and uptodate records of grantrelated communications submissions and outcomesin the organizationsdatabase.
    • Monitoringand Evaluation: Work with program staff todevelop performance metrics and indicators to assess the impact offunded programs. Participate in the monitoring and evaluation ofgrantfunded projects to track progress andoutcomes.

    EducationalQualification/Experience:

    • Bachelors/Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. nonprofit management publicadministration businessadministration).
    • Minimumof 23 years of experience and expertise in Grant research grantwriting and making fundraising or nonprofit funddevelopment.

    Knowledge& Skill setsrequired:

    • Strongunderstanding of grant research grant making including prospectresearch wellconnected with new networks and cold leads proposalwriting and grantmanagement.
    • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills with the ability toarticulate complex concepts and dataeffectively.
    • Detailorientedwith strong organizational and project managementskills.
    • Abilityto work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multipleprioritieseffectively.
    • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite CRMtools
    • Commitmentto Bhumi s mission andvalues.
