    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Sr. Accountant is required to actively participate in departmental initiatives, including ensuring precise and prompt accounting closure, conducting vital accounting analyses, and providing assistance to other team members as necessary.

    WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

    • Customer contracts and project setup
    • Revenue Accounting, End-to-End Accounts Receivables
    • Unbilled Revenue, Time & Material, and Fixed Fee projects
    • Accurate timesheet data management in compliance with customer billing requirements
    • Billing operations and intercompany billing under transfer pricing regulations
    • Timely invoicing
    • Cost recognition per GAAP for MIS closure
    • TDS payment and returns
    • Engagement with revenue leaders and addressing customer queries regarding purchase orders and collections
    • Balance Sheet reconciliations
    • Collaboration with the Accounting and Finance team in India to enhance function scalability in line with growth
    • Identification of efficiencies, acknowledgment of process improvement needs, and formulation of recommendations
    • Leading statutory and tax audits hands-on with comprehensive business knowledge

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING

    • Degree from a Three-year accredited University with a focus on tax or accounting
    • 8 to 10 years of experience acquired from Service or IT industries as an in-house Accountant
    • Proficiency in General accounting or intercompany transactions, Accounts Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, and Tax Regulations and Practices
    • Desirable qualifications include Semi-qualified CA-Inter CA/Fresh, or Bachelor's in Commerce with an MBA in Accounts & Finance, involved in Finance and Accounting functions
    • Effective Communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation capabilities
    • Attention to detail, advanced Excel skills
    • Flexibility, teamwork mindset, quick adaptability, proficient in managing junior accountants
    • Permanent resident of Mumbai, India
