    About therole

    Asthe Senior Associate you will play a pivotal role in supporting thedevelopment and implementation of thesocial emotional learning program in partnerschools.

    Weat Bhumi believe that incorporating socialemotional learning in achild s life will help build character enable learners to beethical rational compassionate and caring and thereby preparechildren for future challenges. SEL helps nurture Self AwarenessSelf Management Social Awareness Relationship Skills andResponsible DecisionMaking in individuals. These broadly constitutethe five SEL competencies. Our program aims to foster these skillsin various stakeholders within the education system providing gradespecific deliverable content on SEL competencies for childrenworking closely with the educators and caregivers throughdevelopment workshops and providing necessarysupport.

    RoleandResponsibilities

    • Assistin the development and adaptation of SEL curriculum materialsresources and activities to meet the needs of diverse learners andeducationalsettings.
    • Collaboratewith educators and other stakeholders to integrate SEL practicesinto classroom instruction school culture and extracurricularactivities.
    • FacilitateSEL workshops training sessions and professional developmentopportunities for staff to enhance their understanding andimplementation of SELstrategies.
    • Supportthe collection and analysis of data related to the implementationand effectiveness of SEL programs andinterventions.

    EducationalQualification/Experience

    • EducationalDegree : Master s degree in Psychology Counseling Social WorkEducation or relatedfield.
    • RelevantExperience(in years) : Previous experience in education counselingsocial work or related fields with a focus on social emotionallearning or mental health support(preferred).

    Knowledge& Skill setsrequired

    • Knowledgeof SEL frameworks theories and evidencebasedpractices.
    • Stronginterpersonal and communication skills with the ability to buildrelationships and collaborate effectively with diversestakeholders.
    • Experiencefacilitating workshops training sessions or groupactivities.
    • Abilityto work independently and as part of a team with strongorganizational and time managementskills.
    • Commitmentto equity diversity and inclusion in education and social emotionalsupport.
