    Description

    The role will report to the Assistant Finance Director and empower a team in India, driving operational finance management to new heights.

    Responsibilities

    • Take charge of leading, training, and overseeing a proficient team of accounting professionals to effectively manage finance and accounting tasks at the site.
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and transactions, adhering to International Accounting Principles, local statutory requirements, and corporate policies.
    • Manage local tax matters, foreign exchange transactions, statutory audits, and compliance with Indian laws and regulations to minimize legal risks in India.
    • Provide the management team with precise and timely financial insights to facilitate informed decision-making.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or above in finance or accounting fields
    • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience with at least 3 years of cost accounting and controlling for a manufacturing operation
    • Have extensive experience in management accounting
    • Can speak English fluently
    • Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent computerized accounting software
