    Description

    We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and provide invaluable support to our company. Your role will involve performing various administrative tasks, including updating employee records, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

    This 6-month internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in HR operations and gain insight into our company's approach to payroll and recruiting.

    As an HR Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our policies and procedures. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be utilized in maintaining accurate employee records and assisting with various HR-related activities.

    Join our team and embark on a rewarding journey with BranchKarma. The stipend for this 6- month internship is between 5,000 - 7,000/- INR per month.

    Responsibilities

    • Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
    • Gather payroll data like leaves, working hours, and bank accounts
    • Screen resumes and application forms
    • Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
    • Post, update, and remove job ads from job boards and careers pages
    • Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new employees to ensure a smooth organizational transition.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as needed.
    • Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and employment laws to ensure compliance and recommend improvements to existing processes.

    Requirements and skills

    • Experience as an HR intern or a similar junior HR role is a plus.
    • Familiarity with resume databases
    • Experience with Google Suite.
    • Good understanding of full-cycle recruiting
    • Basic knowledge of labor legislation
    • Organizational, Observational, Talking and Listening skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
    • High level of professionalism and integrity.
    • Graduate in Human Resources Management or a similar field

    The HR intern will directly report to the Director of BranchKarma.
