    Description

    Role: Executive – Process Engineer

    Reporting to: Operations Head

    Location: Kheda

    Reportees: NIL

    Role Purpose:

    As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the managing the process design, flow diagrams, calculations in accordance with the company standards and industry requirements right from R&D to pilot to production.


    • You will be responsible to monitor the process and quality that will lead to improvement in the manufacturing methods to ensure all customer requirements are met.


    • Key Deliverables


    • Process Development o Conceptualize design process along with stake holders (R&D, Production, Management, QSHE departments) to ensure smooth transitions of product flow from R&D lab to pilot to production.

    Identify all process requirements, and modifications wherever required

    o Responsible for design calculations for various manufacturing processes and operations o Understand and Prepare the Design calculations during new process transfers & new process launching/experimenting at Pilot plant o Responsible for Pilot Batch run, equipment testing of a process o Understanding & Preparation of P&ID, engineering drawing study o Focus on process equipment to optimize the process flow while maintaining safety and industry standards. o Ensure detailed engineering review and process information is documented in the Process Manual and SOPs are written clearly

    JD:

    Sound understanding of chemical engineering & good know-how of basic chemistry


    • Exposure to Reactors & columns design


    • Experience in Basic & Detail Engineering


    • Good understanding of Heat load calculations, Yield calculations


    • Detailed Know-how on Packing selections


    • Experience of Filtration system selection criteria & performances


    • Experience in Blending & Mixing operations calculations


    • Ability to smoothly execute New Process transfers


    • Hand-on experience of Pilot Batch run, BCT & overall performance monitoring


    • Good interpersonal skills with cross functional departments – R&D, Production, Projects, Engineering and QSHE


    • Preparation of Batch-sheets for new process transfers

    Qualification: B.Tech/B.E/ M.Tech Chemical Engineer ; Polymer/Process Engineering o Experience – 5 to 8 years in Process Design profile in a setup preferably in Specialty Chemical or Resins industries.
