    The Microsoft Azure Storage Engineering team is seeking a dedicated Technical Program Manager II to play a crucial role in identifying and implementing new storage technologies and Microsoft Azure storage hardware platforms. In this position, you will be involved in evaluating business opportunities, making strategic recommendations, and collaborating with various teams both within Microsoft Azure and across the organization.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, along with at least 2 years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent practical experience.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
    • Proficiency with reading and/or writing code, strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to make informed decisions, tackle complex problems, design and execute projects involving multiple stakeholders, and capable of generating data-driven insights, defining strategies, and conducting experiments.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, plus a minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent practical experience.
    • At least 1 year of experience with code reading and/or writing.
    • Over 4 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
    • Expertise in Cloud technologies offered by leading cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google) and proficiency in Storage Technologies.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing and optimizing the data pipeline and reporting infrastructure for monitoring utilization, deployment readiness, and rollout of Azure Storage hardware platforms.
    • Working closely with other Program Managers to leverage data insights for enhancing Storage service efficiencies.
    • Collaborating with diverse teams and disciplines.
    • Independently spearheading feature group roadmaps, managing project timelines, planning staging and implementation, and staying abreast of governance initiatives.
