The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced SCM professional to Head and ensure our supply chain and logistics operations function properly.
In this role you have to design, formulate and implement the overall supply chain strategy for our large electronics manufacturing BU, continuously improving and deploying best practices, undertaking rigorous planning, direct and indirect sourcing, vendor & inventory management, distribution management to achieve the strategy and objectives for the Business. You should also have experience in project management, as well as great leadership and communication ability.
Responsibilities
· Create the company's supply chain strategy
· Should Ensure that the entire materials inclusive of Electronic components(Active & Passive, Electro-mechanical parts, Plastics, Sheet Metal components , Hardware ,Packaging , Consumables, Equipment and spares are procure from the right source at right cost at a right time.
· Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
· Developing of New supplier's with Respect to Demand forecast
· Evaluate and report on KPIs
· Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
· Maintain supply chain inventory and records
· Train and guide employees
· Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
· Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
· Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
· Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
· Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
Required competencies and experience:
Must be an Engineering graduate (Degree in SCM or Material management will be a plus), with 15+ years of experience in SCM from Technology environment.
Strong experience of working with Electrical, Electronic component manufacturing, EMS and Mechanical parts manufacturing companies.
Strong commercial and contractual awareness
Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP, ZOHO, CRM or related ERPs.)
Knowledge of the latest trends in EV chargers and Green Energy are a plus
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills

A strategic and analytical mind
