    Job Summary

    The BSE to the Appointed Actuary plays a pivotal role in supporting the actuarial functions within our organization. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the Actuarial Department by providing comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Appointed Actuary. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling confidential information with discretion. This role requires a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain the Appointed Actuary's calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
    • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents for the Actuarial Department.
    • Facilitate internal and external communications, ensuring that all interactions are handled with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Assist in the preparation and distribution of actuarial reports and presentations to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate and organize departmental meetings, including logistics, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
    • Support the Appointed Actuary in project management and other special assignments as needed.
    • Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
    • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Actuarial Department by performing other related duties as assigned.
    • Help in regular reporting and submissions to IRDA and on BAP portal.
    • Help actuarial and others team in arranging necessary approvals from functional heads.
    • As per the current Actuarial Program of the organization, discharge the administrative duties of salary hike of the employees who pass the exams in coordination with HR and also circulate mails to the respective individuals.
    • Provide support to functional heads and teams for any IT related issues.
    • Ensure timely involvement of senior leadership in case if any issue persists for longer duration.
