    About the Role: As the Head of Business Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and performance of the company. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will lead a team of 10+ and will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and decision support. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations to drive the profitability goals of the organisation.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Planning and Capital Allocation Strategy:

    • Lead the quarterly/annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning exercise for all business lines.
    • Work with the management to allocate capital efficiently across various initiatives

    2.Financial Analysis and Reporting:

    • Conduct monthly variance analysis (vs AOP) to assess financial performance.
    • Financial analysis/insights to support business decision-making.
    • Presenting the financial performance to key internal/ external stakeholders

    3.Business Partnering:

    • Offer insights on the financial implications of business decisions to stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities for enhancing revenues/ control costs
    • Assist the business teams in evaluating new initiatives/ lines of business.

    4.Cost Optimization and Governance:

    • Identify initiatives to optimize costs across various functions.
    • Establish effective monitoring and governance mechanisms for expenses across the company
    • Periodic deep dive into company wide cost trends

    5.Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business finance team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration
    • Set clear goals and performance expectations, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

    6.Fund Raising and Investor Relations:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, bankers, analysts, and stakeholders for fund-raising initiatives.
    • Prepare long-range business plans and materials for investor meetings and conferences.
    • Communicate the company's financial performance and growth strategy to the investment community.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CA preferred.
    • Proven experience (8-12 years) in a senior finance role, with a track record of success in financial planning and analysis.
    • Strong understanding of business operations, financial modeling, and strategic planning.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business performance and delivering results.
    • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
