Role Overview:
As a Senior Applications Developer at , you will play a pivotal role in the analysis of requirements and business objectives. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing application features, resolving bugs, and developing test strategies. This role also encompasses the creation of detailed technical documentation and user assistance material, demanding strong written communication skills. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of deploying, configuring, and scaling high-performance containerized web applications in a public cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
● Analyse requirements and business objectives to inform application development processes.
● Architect, design, and implement application features with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
● Identify and resolve bugs in the software, ensuring a seamless user experience.
● Develop comprehensive test strategies, conduct functionality tests, and create automation test scripts.
● Write detailed technical documentation and user assistance material to facilitate user understanding.
● Deploy, configure, and scale high-performance containerized web applications in a public cloud setting.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
● 5+ years of experience in software development.
● Proficiency in Java and java-based frameworks.
● Extensive experience in developing on Windows platforms.
● Familiarity with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure);
experience with Azure is a plus.
● In-depth knowledge of Windows software components, including Active
Directory, Remote Desktop Sharing, Powershell scripting, and Licensing.
● Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, with the ability to interact with them through Java.
● Analytical mindset with excellent debugging skills.
● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
