    Description

    Preferred Industry - Testing & Quality Assurance (Food Testing Laboratory/ Food Processing)

    Qualification - B.Tech in Food Technology/ Biotechnology

    Work Experience - Minimum 7-8 Years (Instrumentation section - LCMS/ GCMS/ HPLC)

    Job Responsibilitie

    1. Working as technical manager for Instrumentation section (Expertise in LCMS/ GCMS/ HPLC)
    2. .Supervision of day-to-day activities in Instrumentation section and ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the section
    3. .Allocating samples to the Sr. Analyst and Analysts as and when the job demands, depending on the workload & individual staff competency
    4. .Getting maintained the master sample entry record register in Instrumentation section
    5. .Making sure analyst understanding the complete requirements of the method before initiating the analysis
    6. .Checking the integrity of reports (in all respects) before forwarding the reports to reporting section
    7. .Review of the final report released from Instrumentation section and give opinion and interpretation as per specification applied
    8. .Taking part in proficiency testing & Inter-laboratory comparison (ILC) program and Internal quality control (IQC
    9. )Method verification and validation in Instrumentation section as per NABL, APEDA, EIC & Client requirements
    10. .Overseeing that the analysis is done within the stipulated turnaround time
    11. .Supervision and Maintenance of all equipment in respective section along with cleaning and troubleshooting
    12. .Monitoring of equipment usage record, internal calibration and intermediate checks
    13. .Timely information to the concerned staff in case of repairs or breakdown of instrument(s)
    14. .Ensure the procurement, storage, usage, preparation and maintenance of equipment such reference standards, CRM, reagents and glassware in the section
    15. .Maintenance and supervision of all the quality records in the laboratory
    16. .Preparing training plan and accordingly imparting the training to persons working in chemical section
    17. .Giving technical support to operation team for customer enquiries, quotations, complaints etc
    18. .Carrying out the root cause analysis and taking appropriate correction action, if any non-conformity take place in respective section
    19. .Resolving technical issues related to chemical testing
    20. .Maintaining related test methods/protocols. To update the SOP/WI related to chemical Section as and when required
    21. .Being responsible for proper testing & reporting of samples received in section
