    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    This position involves providing support to a global private equity client by:

    • Assisting clients in developing effective strategies, including financial modeling, industry and market analyses, competitive benchmarking, and opportunity assessments through extensive primary and secondary research
    • Conducting valuation analysis using income method and multiples-driven technique (Relative Valuation analysis)
    • Engaging in Fixed Income Research - Demonstrating expertise in credit research, debt analysis, covenant monitoring, cash flow conversion, etc.
    • Creating detailed financial models for clients, including market sizing, investment, DCF, M&A, and LBO models
    • Comparing companies based on various financial and operational parameters to evaluate industry growth and profitability
    • Performing scenario and sensitivity analysis to support investment decisions
    • Identifying key financial and non-financial risks and providing risk mitigation strategies
    • Collaborating with senior professionals at private equity firms and corporations
    • Working with a team of financial analysts for decision-making and forecasting
    • Conducting quality checks on reports

    Required Background

    • 5+ years of experience in financial modeling within strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or research sectors
    • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and financial analysis terminology, such as DCF, trading & transactions comps, benchmarking, financial statements, etc.
    • Attention to detail and proficiency in analyzing large datasets to extract valuable insights
    • Sound business fundamentals and strong business analysis skills

    Proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet software, including creating charts, macros, and VBA

    • CFA, Chartered Accountant, MBA from a reputable business school
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong time management abilities, with the capacity to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Dedicated and motivated individuals with a record of academic excellence and strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
