    Description

    We are looking for a passionate technocrat whose first love is UI and UX that excites our consumers. The Head of Engineering role here is responsible for leading and managing the engineering team in the development and delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend technologies like Angular, as well as native app development for iOS and Android. They will also have experience in leading and managing teams, as well as a proven track record of success in delivering projects on time and the ability to collaborate with globally distributed delivery teams to manage dependencies.

    • Lead and manage multiple engineering teams in the development and delivery of high-quality software products.
    • Set the technical vision for the department and ensure that the engineering team is aligned with that vision.
    • Architect and design software systems.
    • Work with product managers to define and prioritize features.
    • Hire, train, and mentor engineers.
    • Manage the constraints of progressive elaboration and tight timelines.
    • Ensure that the engineering team meets all quality standards.
    • Represent the engineering team to other departments and stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • Native speaker of Web & Native Development (Angular, Android and English
    • Hands on Angular development experience with rich exposure to web technology and analytics
    • Hands on Mobile development experience with both, Android and iOS flavours
    • Sound technical knowledge on Native Webkit and its advanced features
    • Good exposure to Hybrid Framework such React Native
    • You are able to create great Web and Mobile Architectures at Enterprise level
    • You strive for performance and optimization in every line of code
    • Learning new technologies is great for you and continuous improvement with the latest mobile trends is your mantra
    • You live this way of working for the past 15 to 20 years and you can't think of anything better
