    Description
    Job Details Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform independent testing of existing compliance programs in the area of AML, Financial Crimes, Consumer Protections, Trade / Market Surveillance, etc.
  • Examine and evaluate established processes and controls to assess whether they are operating as intended against the standards
  • Perform controls analysis to identify and evaluate complex operational, regulatory and technology related risks
  • Execute complex aspects of the compliance framework in accordance with the assurance plan and standards
  • Assess new/existing regulatory requirements against the compliance program, assess potential risk implications, and summarize opinions and recommendations
  • Assess adequacy of corrective action plans towards the recommended actions and periodically follow-up on the progress
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects (i.e., post-implementation review) or as directed by the manager
  • Maintain detailed working papers for the walkthroughs and testing and timely update of testing progress in reporting system
    • Must Have Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of in internal or external audit/compliance/risk management/ control testing experience, quality control/assurance/
  • Experience in assessing risk, reviewing risk ratings, identifying controls gaps and determining the appropriate evaluation methodology
  • Experience in assessing processes, procedures, and identifying controls.
  • Understanding of AML/CTF, financial crimes and its regulatory framework
  • Previous audit experience in a Big 4 or other top tier accounting firm;
  • Strong understanding of audit standards and the entire audit cycle
  • Demonstrate strong analytical regulatory research skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, problem solve, troubleshoot and follow-up independently
  • Strong English communication skills
    • Hours: 40 hours/week - Monday to Friday; Fully working from the office - Indiqube Alpine (Transit) 7th Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Guindy Area - adjacent to Ekattuthangal Metro Station.
    We will NOT consider candidates that do not currently reside in the Chennai metro area.
