    Team Lead - Marine Procurement (Consumables, Provisions, PPE & Nautical Categories)

    Role overview:

    • Collaborate with the Category Head to formulate and execute the Category Buying strategy
    • Empower your team to excel through leadership and coaching
    • Set and drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for optimal costs and service delivery
    • Communicate transparently with stakeholders on market conditions and procurement operations
    • Support the implementation of automation and train junior staff
    • Optimize sourcing decisions and drive supplier performance management tasks
    • Enhance data quality and propose changes to expand global coverage
    • Contribute to Maersk's carbon-neutral initiative

    Additional responsibility:

    Procurement Focal (Proximity Lead) for fleet groups, handling escalation management and ensuring timely orders

    Skills needed:

    • Demonstrate excellent management skills in planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication
    • Excellent analytical skills and a good understanding of procurement practices
    • Team player with problem-solving abilities and a drive for results
    • Good understanding of finance and accounting principles
    • Experience in the marine industry is a plus

    Qualification:

    • A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
    • At least 10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, including team leadership role
