    Job Title: Sales Director - Banking Software Sales (Fintech)

    Location: India (Chennai or Mumbai or Bengaluru)

    Experience: 10 to 15+ years

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Job Brief

    We are seeking a dynamic and high-performing Sales Director to join one of our esteemed client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. As a Sales Director, you will develop key growth strategies, tactics, and action plans, with successful execution critical to achieving financial targets. This role entails hitting annual sales targets, building and maintaining customer relationships, and staying attuned to customer trends.

    Responsibilities

    • Own and exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory and accounts.
    • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
    • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
    • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
    • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and the strategic direction of accounts.

    Desired Experience

    • Proven sales executive experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
    • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director.
    • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
    • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
    • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
    • Demonstrated experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
    • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
