    Description

    Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

    Purpose of the position:
    a. Why the positions exists?
    b. What will happen if there is no one in the position (no one performs the work)?
    The position would be responsible for material master data management for the Car manufacturing plant
    It acts as an interfacing role across Sales and Operations, Plant, Maintenance, Finance and TS (PLM) to ensure correct data flow and update in SAP with data analytics to ensure material flow to optimise Working Capital.

    Dimensions of the position:

    • Non-Financial: MRP Run based on S&OP Plan Annual volume 160k, Operations Planning MIS

    • Financial: Operations Cost Savings/avoidance - ~10 Crs

    Education: Tech (MBA/ PGDM Operations Mgmt.)

    Education

    Work Experience

    Relevant Experience :
    4-6 years of SCM experience in automobile industry with background of Supply chain optimization, product knowledge. Knowledge of SAP –MM is must
    ; Key Responsibility & Key Tasks
    1 Material Requirement Planning

    • Execute MRP Run based on S&OP Plan for schedule lines generation to enable parts in-warding in line with production plan

    • Monitor and optimise material availability during production by taking timely MRP run

    • Monitor inventory at all PVBU plants to ensure product inventory at optimum levels

    • Monitor implementation of zero obsolescence plan for phased out products as per defined timelines
    2 Master Data Management

    • Process material master data updation requests pertaining to Store Location, MRPC, Reorder point, Max stk Level, Rounding Value, Safety stocks etc.

    • Material Master Creation / Extension for all Direct and Indirect plants of PV Business

    • Create/update Sales views for all PV Business plants

    • Conceptualise IT Dashboard for MIS Reporting

    • Monitor and guide master data cell (bill of material, item, vendor master, MRP, target inventory level) management

    • Ensure standardisation of SAP material master data input at PVBU level

    • Provide inputs for development of strategy for Material Master data in case of new development for process standardization with PLM and TS Team

    • Resolve of queries on SAP Parts' & VC Level
    3 Operations Planning

    • Prepare MIS for BSVI Critical part tracking

    • Generate monthly MIS Report of Model wise RM inventory

    • Monitor and control of BSIV and Phase-out parts inventory

    • Reconcile inventory for Pre SOP Vehicles and transfer to ERC
    4 New Developments

    • Execute new Business requirements like New Plant code creation for BETA vehicle production

    • Develop new applications/processes in SAP for process efficiency

    • Partner with business for implementation of new processes in SAP
