    Responsibilities

    Role and Responsibilities of a Business Development Head

    Business Development Head of our Company will lead our business development efforts in the transportation and facility management sector. A Business Development Manager (BDM) is directly responsible to the Chief Executive Officer a key player in driving the growth and success of an organization. They are responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company's market presence. He/ She will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and expanding our market presence in line with company objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in business development within the transportation and facility management industry.

    Some of the Responsibilities are as under:

    Strategic Planning and Execution:

    ü Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

    ü Identify key target markets, segments, and opportunities for growth in transportation and facility management services.

    ü Execute strategic initiatives to penetrate new markets and expand our client base.

    Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

    ü Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business opportunities.

    ü Evaluate market dynamics, customer needs, and industry regulations to develop targeted business development strategies.

    Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    ü Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective clients, including property managers, logistics companies, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.

    ü Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.

    ü Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

    Proposal Development and Presentation:

    ü Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the specific needs and requirements of potential clients.

    ü Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to develop customized solutions and value propositions.

    ü Present proposals to clients effectively, addressing their concerns, objections, and requirements to secure new business opportunities.

    Revenue Generation and Business Growth:

    ü Set ambitious revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals.

    ü Drive revenue growth through cross-selling, upselling, and expansion of services to existing clients.

    ü Explore new revenue streams and business models to diversify revenue sources and mitigate risks.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    ü Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their performance and productivity.

    ü Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the business development team, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.

    ü collaborate with various internal departments such as marketing, product development, and finance to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives. They work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage resources and optimize the overall business development process.

    Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    ü Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and business development activities to track progress towards targets and objectives.

    ü Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights, recommendations, and forecasts related to business development efforts.

    Qualifications

    MBA in Business /Marketing

    § In-depth knowledge of transportation logistics, facility management services, and industry best practices.

    § Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.

    § Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders.

    § Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and targets.

    § Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability.

    § Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.

    § Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.

    § Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
