Description
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-8 years of experience in business development, preferably in a technical field, with a strong focus on ELV (Extra Low Voltage) solutions. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our ELV solutions.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ELV solutions market.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitor activities.
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate and effective solution design.
Negotiate and close sales agreements, contracts, and partnerships.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecast to management.
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to ELV solutions.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and generate leads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in business development, preferably in a technical field.
Strong knowledge and understanding of ELV solutions, including access control, CCTV, fire alarm systems, structured cabling, and other related technologies.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Self-motivated and target-driven individual.
Willingness to travel as required.
Knowledge of local market and contacts within the ELV industry is a plus.
