    Contract Type:
    Full-time, permanent, 40 hour per week Mon-Fri, subject to a 3-month probationInterviews: 3 stages totaling around 3 hours + Reference checksReports to: CEOSalary: Base Salary DOE + 20% per placement – Uncapped

    Role Description:
    As a Business Development Manager at RemoteStar. You will play a key part in the growth of our commercial team.

    As one of the first strategic hires at RemoteStar, you will be given complete autonomy to build a high-performing commercial team that will allows us to hit our commercial targets for 2024/2025.


    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing and executing sales strategies, and promoting the services and benefits of RemoteStar.

    The Business Development Manager will also collaborate with consulting CTOs to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions.

    Your Responsibilities:
    Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects through research, networking, and cold-callingConduct Business-to-Business cold calling to generate opportunities, Pre-qualify leads and ensure a seamless handover to the delivery teamProactively promote our services to create new business opportunitiesAchieve recruitment lead generation targets and objectives set by the businessWork closely with the team to identify potential prospectsTake ownership of the development and growth of the commercial business unitTrain and coach and guide new hiresBudget management and forecast

    Requirements:
    Proven track record in a similar role, specifically within the technical domain3 years + experience in a similar recruitment role or as a Senior Recruitment ConsultantBook of contacts to help you generate revenue from the offsetWillingness to work in a start-up environment where you carve your own pathKnowledge of the software engineering industry (desirable but not essential)Outstanding interpersonal skillsStrong-willed and resilient, with a positive attitude and outlookExcellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationshipsStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritiseFlexible approach with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and business needsAbility to work remotely - independently and as part of a wider team
