Description

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to take McKayne to the next level and the search is on to find a highly motivated, results oriented person. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of new business deals by identifying, evaluating, and managing potential partnerships. This includes identifying potential partners, negotiating agreements, and developing strategic partnerships. Responsibilities

Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand.
Develop a strong pipeline of well-qualified potential prospects that are targeted to the right audience
Target prospects and work with Head to schedule effective meetings.
New client acquisition within small and medium enterprises and large corporates.
Identify new markets that are not currently served by the company and create a strategy for entering these markets
Partner closely with engineering, product management, marketing and sales to execute on the strategic business development plan.
Research target industries, sub-sectors and companies in order to understand their information.
Updating database with progress in completing meetings & contact info.
Develop an annual sales pipeline of prospective customers.
Prioritising client's requirements and following up to ensure completion.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English (Fluent)
2+ years' prior industry related business development experience
Outgoing personality and are able to speak with people at every level, including company execs.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a large list of potential opportunities.
A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
An excellent problem solver and negotiator, who always sees the bigger picture.
Working with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to utilise superior analytical and critical thinking skills.
