    Job Summary

    Compiles and analyzes brand and generic pharmaceutical market data for the purpose of evaluating and identifying products of interest and providing market insights. Responsible for running automation tasks and providing first wave troubleshooting. Maintaining some master data.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the organization in regard to the processing of various pharmaceutical data sources
  • Runs automation tasks in SQL, Microsoft Access, Python
  • Provides troubleshooting context on errors encountered in automation tasks
  • Responsible for the accurate integration of supplemental data sources, validation, and monitoring
  • Investigates and resolves data questions/inquiries from internal partners. Creates solutions to data issues in a timely manner
  • Communicates with Commercial Excellence on data status, creation, and distribution of reports to key stakeholders
  • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

  • Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.

    • Job Requirements

  • Education Bachelor's degree required either in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Pharmacy/Scientific discipline, or a similar degree; advanced degree in business management or science preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Intermediate skills in T-SQL/SSMS, Microsoft Access, PythonFamiliarity with QlikSense an assetFamiliarity with Salesforce and Salesforce Data Loader an assetStrong and proven quantitative, qualitative, analytical reasoning and communication skillsComputer Operations: T-SQL/SSMS, Microsoft Access, PythonMicrosoft Office Suite, particularly strong Excel skills requiredIMS and other pharmaceutical database knowledgeQlikSenseSalesforce
  • Experience Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industryMust have extensive experience with the pharmaceutical market and related processesMust be organized and have the ability to present themselves to othersCompetent in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access and familiar with data warehouse environmentsCandidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative and strong analytical skillsIndividual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent oral and written communication skillsHighly self-directed and solution-orientedStrong attention to detail
