    Customer Contracts Team lead


    Job Description:

    Role Purpose:

    • The Customer Contracts Team Lead will manage a team of contract specialists who are responsible for contract checking, processing and related online entitlement and invoicing research clients, as well as supporting other aspects of sales operations. The role holder will become an established expert in both the Operational and Commercial elements of the team workflows and surrounding processes.
    • The role holder will serve as a 'playercoach', undertaking operational tasks while also performing the role of a manager. You will manage the daytoday team workings and act as a point of escalation for the team and business. You will also drive team learning and professional development and create a culture and practice of continuous process improvement.
    • The successful applicant must be an excellent communicator, highly organized, proactive, and collaborative, with an ability to successfully lead and motivate a team.
    This role will require you to work in UK time zone hours (i.e. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. UK time, Monday to Friday).


    Main Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of contract specialists responsible for highly detailed and timesensitive work and interfacing with multiple businesses stakeholders and systems
    • Provide mentorship and professional development to the team
    • Create a climate in which people are motivated and enabled to do their best work and in which we celebrate both individual and team successes
    • Continuously improve global team processes
    • Collaborate with all areas of Commercial Operations, Sales, Finance and Legal to ensure team alignment on processes and deliverables
    • Monitor customer data quality and orders internally via Salesforce dashboards to deal with any issues that arise
    • As required, drive strategic functional initiatives that span across multiple functions, departments, processes and 5+ years' experience in an operational role
    • Ability to evaluate multiple competing priorities and demands on the team's time and allocate resources effectively, balancing the team's objectives and stakeholders needs
    • Ability to create a cohesive, teamworkdriven environment
    • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent process and operational management ability with a keen eye to continuously improve ways of working
    • High levels of initiative and proactivity
    • Confidence to challenge colleagues of all levels when required
    • Intermediate Excel skills are required for this role
