BeverageManufacturing: Knowledge of and ability to apply carbonatedand
Product Development: Deep knowledge andpractical application of the product development process. Flexibleand creative development skills with a strong attention to detail.
Project Management: Knowledge of projectmanagement principles and the ability to apply the principles toolsand techniques to develop/plan manage or execute projects orwork
plans to ensure successful completion(e.g. on time within budget).
BuildingTechnical Relationships: Ability to apply technical knowledge andestablish credibility with highly technical audiences in order tobuild technical relationships that will benefit customers or theCompany.
Ingredients: Knowledge of andexperience with key ingredients used in production of concentratesand beverage bases (e.g. colorants acidulants emulsifierspreservatives flavoring materials).
noncarbonated beverage processing techniques (e.g. proportioningcarbonating syrup manufacturing filling).
Basic Flavor Chemistry: General knowledge of the organic chemistryof essential oils and other flavor compounds relevant to Companyproducts.
Flavor Industry Knowledge:Knowledge of flavoring materials the flavor industry and the tradeorganizations that represent them.
ComputerSkills: Knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs (Word ExcelPowerPoint Outlook) formula/database type systems and capableuser.
Basic Organic Chemistry: Knowledge ofbasic organic structures reactions functional groups and propertiesneeded to understand the reactions of organic compounds in Companyproducts. This includes the understanding of moderately complexprinciples in order to problemsolve package or ingredient relatedissues.
Endurance: Willingness and abilityto occasionally function effectively over extended periods of time.Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities based on businessneeds.
Internet: Knowledge of Internetsearch techniques used to find required information (e.g. technicalfacts) and monitor sites of interest to the department.
Laboratory Practices: Knowledge and application of GoodLaboratory Practices (e.g. handling of chemicals and glasswarepreparation of standards and reagents proper measuring techniquesdata management housekeeping).
ProprietaryComposition Information: Ability to recognize and protectproprietary information as it relates to formulas andingredients.
