JOB OVERVIEW
The Head of Learning & Development will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the learning strategy for a premium sanitaryware and lighting brand.
You will lead a team of learning professionals and collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, design effective programs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Regularly assess training programs to stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the effectiveness modules of learning programs.
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of learning initiatives with overall organizational strategies.
Training Needs Analysis:
Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across various departments.
Work closely with department heads and HR to design targeted learning interventions based on identified needs.
Assess departmental qualitative parameters to identify and plan training requirements.
Program Design and Development:
Oversee the creation of engaging and effective learning programs, incorporating various modalities such as instructor-led training, e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job learning.
Learning Technology and Tools:
Evaluate, select, and implement learning management systems (LMS) and other technological tools to enhance the delivery and tracking of learning programs.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising the quality of programs.
REQUIRED SKILL SET
Educational Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field. A Masters in business administration is preferred
Minimum 12-14 Years of experience in Sales or Training
Skills & Competencies:
Experience in Designing, developing, and implementing tailored training programs – technical and behavioural
Proficiency in creating instructional materials and conducting needs assessments.
Experience in setting LMS platforms
Strong presentation skills.
