    Description

    About the role:

    This role offers an end to end a project management experience through Marico Innovation Foundation's flagship program – Innovation for India Awards. Launched in 2006, the biennial Innovation for India Awards is the first Indian platform to recognize and celebrate the pioneering work of "currently hidden potentially game-changing" Indian innovations. The Awards program has a unique and robust evaluation process spanning over 8 months to handpick the most disruptive and promising innovations as the winners. This includes 2 rounds of deliberations by an independent jury or each category and a thorough on-ground due diligence conducted by an independent knowledge partner. The grand finale of the Awards is a curated experience with an audience of over 1000 distinguished people. The highlight of the evening are the extraordinary stories of innovation, perseverance and change that are presented by the winners.

    Duration: 12 months

    The project management consultant is expected to be proficient in the following areas of responsibility:

    1. Managing the Application Phase of Awards 2025


    • Leading application outreach to garner applications for award entries across categories. This would include end-to-end target-based conversions.


    • Being the front-end representative for all application related queries.


    • Application management and co-ordination with Knowledge Partner for evaluation.


    • Weekly reporting to Program Lead and Head of Foundation

    2. Smooth execution and management of two virtual + on ground events like jury rounds.

    3. End to end management of the on ground large-scale flagship event, Innovation for India Awards. This would include:


    • Coordination with event agency partner for logistics and event execution


    • Invitation and database management of high-stake guests, outreach, invitations, RSVP management and follow-ups on confirmations for attendance at the event.


    • Working closely with RSVP Lead for seating plan and layout.

    4. Compile, analyze, and present regular updates for all phases of the event to Program Lead and Head of Foundation

    Skill(s) required:

    1. Excellent communication skills (Spoken and written English)

    2. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
