    The Role

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to lead our Enzymes Business division. The Category Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, increase market share, and optimize profitability within the enzymes product portfolio. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to meet business goals and objectives, including revenue targets, market share growth, and product innovation.
    2. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
    3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to align product development, marketing initiatives, and sales efforts with category objectives.
    4. Manage the entire product lifecycle, from product concept to commercialization, including pricing strategies, product positioning, and promotional activities.
    5. Establish strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners to drive sales growth and expand market presence.
    6. Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to identify areas for improvement and adjustment of category strategies.
    7. Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure adequate inventory management, production planning, and fulfillment to meet customer demand.
    8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
    9. Prepare and present regular reports, business reviews, and strategic plans to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, market insights, and actionable recommendations.
    10. Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in the enzyme sector to anticipate market changes and capitalize on opportunities.

    Who are we looking for

    1. 5 years in category management, product management, or related roles within the chemical, biotech, or enzyme industry.
    2. Deep understanding of enzyme technologies, applications, and market dynamics.
    3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    5. Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, anticipate market trends, and develop innovative solutions.
    6. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes.
    7. Willingness to travel as needed.
