- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to meet business goals and objectives, including revenue targets, market share growth, and product innovation.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to align product development, marketing initiatives, and sales efforts with category objectives.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from product concept to commercialization, including pricing strategies, product positioning, and promotional activities.
- Establish strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners to drive sales growth and expand market presence.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to identify areas for improvement and adjustment of category strategies.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure adequate inventory management, production planning, and fulfillment to meet customer demand.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present regular reports, business reviews, and strategic plans to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, market insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in the enzyme sector to anticipate market changes and capitalize on opportunities.
- 5 years in category management, product management, or related roles within the chemical, biotech, or enzyme industry.
- Deep understanding of enzyme technologies, applications, and market dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, anticipate market trends, and develop innovative solutions.

The Role
