    Description

    BambooBox is a 3-year-old, B2B SaaS start-up, offering a platform for growth marketers. With its advanced AI and ML-driven platform, BambooBox helps companies deliver untapped marketing intelligence to business teams and increase the marketing contribution to the overall revenue. We work with clients like Airtel Business, Darwinbox, PeopleStrong, and other such global organizations. We are backed by investors such as Sequoia Surge (now Peak XV), Emergent Ventures, and Escape Velocity. We are in the process of scaling the organization and are in a high-growth phase.

    Job Location- Bangalore

    Job Type- Work from the office

    About the role:

    Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth for the organization by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ability to understand client needs, effectively communicate product/service value, and close deals are key components of success in this role.

    Here's a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities and qualifications associated with this role:

    Functional Requirements:

    1. Client Acquisition and Retention:

    Identify and prospect potential B2B clients.

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

    Develop and execute strategies to acquire new business accounts.

    Retain and grow existing client accounts by understanding their needs and proposing relevant solutions through cross-skilling and upskilling

    2. Sales and Revenue Generation:

    Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.

    Present and demonstrate the value of products/services to clients.

    Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.

    Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Implementation, Engineering and Customer Success) to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of solutions.

    3. Market Research and Analysis:

    Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

    Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.

    Analyze client needs and tailor product offerings accordingly.

    4. Proposal and Contract Management:

    Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.

    Ensure that all contractual obligations are met, and agreements are executed accurately.

    Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts.

    5. Reporting and Forecasting:

    Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts.

    Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions.

    Prepare and present performance reports to management, sales and marketing teams

    Qualifications:

    1. Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited Business School

    An MBA from an elite university is a plus

    2. Experience:

    Proven experience in a B2B Account Executive role (2 years minimum and 5 years maximum). SDR role experience does not count. B2C sales experience also does not count.

    Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

    3. Skills:

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Should be able to build relationships and also be able to present to executives.

    Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.

    Analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    4. Industry Knowledge:

    Familiarity with the industry and market trends relevant to the products/services offered.

    Understanding of B2B sales processes and strategies.

    5. Technology Proficiency

    Proficient in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and other relevant sales tools.
