Job Profile Summary
Responsible for guiding the account and creative teams in optimising the output, quality and value of their work, whilst supporting and encouraging colleagues to identify and grow new business opportunities. Is the key point of contact for clients and accountable for the planning, execution and measurement of a portfolio of projects and programmes to the client's satisfaction, whilst ensuring strategically-aligned, quality deliverables on time and within budget. This pivotal position encompasses three key areas – business building, strategic thinking/brand building, and troubleshooting.
Job Description
Client Service:
Establishes and reinforces relationships with key client personnel, primarily marketing, medical, and procurement teams
Proactively advises clients on new issues and the external environment
Takes responsibility for developing, budgeting, managing and finalizing client activity programs, ensuring these are delivered efficiently and to client objectives
Instigates and facilitates brainstorms/workshops to develop the strategic, tactical and creative direction of accounts
Financial Management:
In conjunction with senior team members, ensures input into revenue forecasts with submissions based on sound financial trends and experience
Oversees and manages account/project resource (based on fee projections), profitability, forecasting and revenue to maximize growth opportunities
Takes responsibility for establishing and confirming financial arrangements with the client
Commercial Awareness and Business Development:
Is responsible and accountable for securing and retaining business by providing professional, consultative, proactive and strategic support and ideas
Is aware of wider industry, client competitor strategies and market environment, and uses this knowledge to direct the account teams' work, in consultation with clients
Partners with other network providers accordingly, to help secure larger business wins
Team Management:
Manage junior teams to optimize workflow and workload.
