    The role
    As Technical Business Analyst - Data, you will be part of our Business Analysis Chapter. With expertise in technical business analysis, you will be responsible for analysing complex data requirements and delivering data solutions on engagements with our partners.

    What you should expect

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Understanding business objectives and delivering quality data centric solutions aligned to the enterprise architecture
    • Facilitating workshops to capture business processes and requirements, and translating them into functional designs
    • Designing transformation logic that meets complex business requirements and work within cross-functional delivery teams to build solutions
    • Understanding, analysing, and mapping data flows across technical environments and interfacing systems
    • Analysing and designing data assets and products, integrating data from internal and external sources
    • Assessing impacts of changes on existing business processes and working with business and change management to manage change
    • Supporting and/or conducting testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, system testing and acceptance testing, ensuring adequate coverage
    • Identifying project delivery issues and risks, assisting with mitigation strategies, and escalating where necessary
    • Collaborating and communicating with business and delivery stakeholders and working without supervision
    • Prioritising work and deliverables effectively to delivery within specified timeframes
    What you will need to succeed
    • Bachelors degree or above qualification in IT, Software Engineering or Computer Science
    • years of technical business analysis experience
    • Solid experience working in large scale big data and data warehousing projects
    • Strong capability and experience with modern data practices
    • Understanding of data architecture and design principles
    • Proficient in data profiling, data analysis, SQL, and transformation logic
    • Experience in documenting source to target mapping and analysing database logic
    • Adept in ETL frameworks and data platforms such as Hadoop, Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks
    • Sound experience with Jira and Confluence
    • Understanding of data management, security and privacy practices
    • Experience in agile methodology, continuous integration, test automation, and issue tracking
    • Creative problem solver and drive continuous improvement
    • Experience working in financial services industry
