    Description

    About the Role:

    Mosaic Digital, which is the research and events division of HT, is actively looking for a Sales Team Member to join their team. This is a senior-level position that focuses on event sales and also involves handling events sponsorship responsibilities.

    The main clients targeted for sales are in the investment ecosystem, such as Private Equity/Venture Capitalists, Investment Banks, BFSI, and Corporate Law firms.


    In this role, the chosen candidate will be crucial in utilizing a strategic selling approach, account planning, and developing relationships while keeping a keen eye on meeting sales targets. Having a good grasp of the investment ecosystem in India would be highly beneficial for success in this role.


    Main Responsibilities:

    Lead, Negotiate, and Close Deals:

    • Drive negotiations and successfully close complex, solution-based deals.
    • Highlight the importance of event sales within these deals.

    Account Mapping and Expansion:

    • Strategically map and expand within key accounts using effective interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Give priority to event sales when mapping and expanding within large accounts.

    Business Understanding and Solution Proposal:

    • Showcase a strong business understanding.
    • Gain insight into the customer's business, organization, strategy, and financial standing to propose tailored solutions, with a key focus on offerings.

    Industry Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about the business, technology, investments, and startup landscape in the region.
    • Keep updated on the digital marketing and media industry, particularly in relation to events.

    Account Management and Reporting:

    • Ensure accurate data management for account details.
    • Produce precise forecasts and activity reports, with a special emphasis on event sales.

    Commercial Focus:

    • Demonstrate a strong commercial focus to meet and surpass set targets, especially in the area of event sales.
