    We are hiring a State Sales Head for a fast-growing organisation with a state-of-the-art factory in Bommasandra, Bangalore, having a large direct B-B & B-B-C sales team with a rapidly growing brand retail footprint in the building construction industry. The promoter has been one of the most successful entrepreneurs in India in the current millennium.

    Locations: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

    Reporting to Sales Operations Head - South India

    Our client is looking for a self-motivated Sales Cluster head who can take ownership of leading a team of salespeople to help drive revenue. The sales manager must motivate their team to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts.

    We're seeking a qualified sales manager who can help keep this engine running with their own sales skills as well as the leadership of a team of driven sales representatives. The ideal sales manager has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. We're looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a successful track record who can inspire the same performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives while building and maintaining a high-performance team.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extend brand reach
    • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
    • Onboard sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance
    • Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met
    • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
    • Ensure that sales quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress
    • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
    • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
    • Monitoring: Track data on the effectiveness of campaigns.
    • Crisis Management: put together a robust crisis communications plan and ensure it is communicated to the senior leadership team.

    Required skills and qualifications

    • Experienced Sales professional, with 15 years' experience, of this 5 years in channel retail sales (Sanitaryware, bath and kitchen fixtures, ceramic, and Vitrified Tiles)
    • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
    • Deep experience with the entire sales process, relationship building, excellent negotiation and deal closing.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Superb leadership ability
    • Having a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving
    • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
    • A Management degree
