    Description

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Development Manager with a strong focus on people management to lead our
    development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing and
    mentoring a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and
    delivering high-quality software solutions.

    Duties/Responsibilities:


    • Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to
    ensure their professional growth and success.


    • Define and communicate team goals, objectives, and KPIs aligned with the company's
    strategic objectives.


    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance,
    and project management, to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely
    delivery of projects.


    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team
    members, identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.


    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the development
    team, promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and skill development.


    • Lead by example, demonstrating technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a
    commitment to quality in software development.


    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software
    development, and proactively recommend process improvements and tools to enhance team
    productivity and efficiency.


    • Collaborate with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives, actively
    participating in the hiring process and contributing to the development of talent acquisition
    strategies.

    Required Experience & Skills:


    • Mentor and support other team members, and perform code reviews, to ensure consistent
    application of coding and design patterns and other best practices.


    • Ability to mentor software developers and quality assurance engineers.
    • Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions.
    • Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
    • Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.
    • Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing technical talent.
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems,
    information technology, or similar.


    • 15 plus years of experience in software development and team management.
    • Outstanding expertise in .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, the ASP.NET MVC and / or
    Web Form design pattern, RESTful APIs, and overall full-stack development.


    • Solid understanding of Agile principles and practices.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
