    Job Description:

    The Sales Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of our company by leading the sales development team and implementing strategies to generate and nurture leads. With a strong focus on proactive prospecting, strategic outreach, and relationship building, this role is instrumental in expanding our customer base and maximizing revenue opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Team Leadership:
      • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales development representatives (SDRs) to achieve and exceed their targets.
      • Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to ensure the team's success and professional growth.
      • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales development team.
    2. Strategy Development:
      • Develop and execute comprehensive sales development strategies to drive pipeline growth and meet sales objectives.
      • Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and accounts for prospecting efforts.
      • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to align sales development initiatives with overall business goals.
    3. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
      • Oversee the prospecting process, including outbound cold calling, emailing, and social selling activities.
      • Implement effective lead generation tactics to identify and engage potential customers.
      • Continuously optimize prospecting methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    4. Pipeline Management:
      • Monitor and analyze key sales development metrics, such as lead conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue attribution.
      • Track and report on the progress of leads through the sales funnel, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
      • Work closely with sales operations to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads to the sales team.
    5. Collaboration and Communication:
      • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and other teams to align on messaging, campaigns, and target accounts.
      • Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on sales development performance, trends, and challenges.
      • Act as a liaison between the sales development team and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.


    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years of experience in sales development or related roles, with a proven track record of success in driving lead generation and pipeline growth.
    • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, coaching, and development.
    • Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and sales enablement tools.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and drive results.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
