    Description
    Sourcing Manager
    The Sourcing Manager job conducts business dealing with sourcing, procurement and vendor management. Working in the finance department as well as interacting with other business groups, this job works under limited supervision to analyze data to support vendor costs, compliance, sourcing and procurement.
    Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Participates in negotiations of vendor contracts, sourcing and procurement for a variety of company departments to ensure consistency as well as satisfaction and success.
  • Facilitates collaborative and strong relationships with vendors and sourcing companies.
  • Prepares contracts and other procurement documents using competitive sourcing strategies to deliver continuous cost performance and process improvement.
  • Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
  • Evaluates vendors' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.
  • Identifies and conducts research on suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
  • Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategy.
