    Company Overview

    House of Shipping offers consultancy and advisory services to Shipping & Logistics companies, focusing on understanding their business needs.

    The company is currently seeking a skilled Assistant Finance Manager to join their team.

    Job Summary:

    The Chief Accountant/Asst. FM will oversee all financial matters, provide guidance to other departments, maintain an accurate financial overview, and report on profit and loss regularly. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, advising senior management, and managing office finance operations as needed.

    Job Role:

    • Ensure daily accounting entries are up to date and accurate in the system.
    • Perform daily cash closure and bank reconciliations.
    • File vouchers daily for audit purposes.
    • Prepare cash flow reports and monthly financial statements with variances.
    • Handle local tax filings such as eTDS, Advance Tax, and GST returns.
    • Manage accounts finalization and annual audits.
    • Lead a team as the business expands.
    • Generate monthly invoices according to agreements.
    • Address adhoc tasks as required.

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Demonstrated experience in the field is essential.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

    Reporting Structure:

    Reporting via WhatsApp, phone, and email.

    Educational Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

    Chartered Accountant qualification and proficiency in computer skills are required.
